Bogumił Gacka (1955-), founder of the biannual Personalism, Chairman of Christian Personalism, Professor of Systematic Theology at the University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński,Warsaw.

He published Bibliography of American Personalism (Lublin 1994) and American Personalism (Lublin 1995). Now he prepares Bibliography of European Personalism and European Personalism.

Fr. Bogumił studied Personalism of Martin Luther King, Jr. at Boston University. In his book Stride Toward Freedom (1958) Martin Luther King, Jr. strongly proclaimed: „I studied personalistic philosophy – the theory that the clue to the meaning of ultimate reality is found in personality.”

I. A BIOGRAPHY OF MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.

Martin Luther King, Jr. was born on January 15, 1929, in Atlanta, Georgia to the Reverend Martin Luther King and his wife Alberta. On February 25, 1948, he was ordained to the Baptist ministry. In June of the same year King graduated from Morehouse College with a B.A. in sociology. In September, King entered Crozer Theological Seminary.
